HM Architecture were commissioned to prepare a design concept and shopfitting solution for Kirkstone’s new showroom at their headquarters in Skelwith Bridge, near Ambleside.
The space for the new showroom was an under-utilised rugged Lakeland stone workshop located adjacent to a busy footpath used by walkers. Our solution was a carefully considered and detailed contemporary interior design which ensured that the beauty and versatility of Kirkstone’s materials, products and manufacturing capabilities was always the star of the show.
The project featured in the January 2012 edition of Architecture Today – AT Handbook.
We not only produced the concept design but also the shop drawings for manufacture.
